A fat caterpillar nibbles his way along a milkweed leaf, and a green chrysalis hangs from a nook on a thin wire, dangling freely like the real thing, waiting for its moment. Milkweed leaves are rolled and water etched into the surface, glazed in greens and set against a soft blue like open summer sky. M

Monarchs depend entirely on milkweed. It’s the only plant their caterpillars can eat and the only place the females lay their eggs, which is why planting it matters so much to their survival.

Mug holds approximately 14 oz of your favorite beverage. Mug measures 3.5” wide at mouth and 4.25” tall. Monarch measures approximately 2” wide and 1.75” tall. Each piece is handmade, making each unique and one of a kind. Bottom has maker’s stamp and individual piece number 053-26.

All glazes are lead free and food safe. Hand-washing recommended.
