Two dabbling mallard ducks - one male and one female - are tipped headfirst into the water, foraging below the surface of this jar, looking for what treasures may be stored inside. All you can see are the tail features and bright orange hock joints poking up from the lid. Lift it, and the rest of the scene is revealed: the little heads and feet below the surface, busy dabbling. The jar is glazed in a flowing aqua, with lines rippling outward like the water they’ve disturbed. Perfect to hold small keepsakes and jewelry.

For those who know the best things are found by looking under the surface.

This jar measures a little under 2.75” wide and 2.75” tall top top of duck tails. Bottom features maker’s stamp and individual piece number 3264. Ripples are highlighted in silver luster.

All glazes are lead free and food safe. Hand-washing recommended.
