Brooks Falls Beary Bowl № 050-26
Brooks Falls Beary Bowl № 050-26
Welcome to Brooks Falls, berry edition. Two brown bears sit on a pile of rocks, fishing for their meal, inspired by the Katmai bears who spend their summer eating their way to winter. A third bear climbs the water spout, hoping for a better vantage point. The bowl is glazed in crystal grey-blue on the outside, with a dynamic light blue glaze inside that makes the red and purple berries pop. The holes in the center mound are carved to look like fish. Turn on the tap and watch the berries swim around the bowl. Cleaning berries has never been so entertaining. Holes in the bottom let the water drain, so you can rinse and serve in the same piece.
For those who enjoy turning mundane tasks into joyous occasions.
Beary Bowl measures approximately 7” in diameter, and 8” with spout. Bears each measure 1-1.25” long and .5” tall. Small drainage holes in bottom allow water to fully drain from berries. Vertical holes are carved in the shape of fish.
Please note that this style of berry bowl is best with high pressure/flow from sink. It needs enough water flow and pressure to create the vortex to spin the berries.
Bottom features maker’s stamp and individual piece number 050-26. All glazes are lead free and food safe. Hand-washing recommended. Do not microwave.
