A barn owl perches at the shoulder of this bud vase, watching the world below with that particular stillness only owls have. The glaze shifts beneath her, from warm rust earth through forest green into deep twilight blue at the top — the full art of a deep summer evening. A vase for the quiet hours and the ones who keep them.

This piece is considered a second as there is a tiny crack in the right leg, closest to the vase. It has been patched with an epoxy, only visible with close inspection. Vase is still completely functional and should not effect the durability of the owl.

Bud vase measures 3.75” tall and 1” wide at mouth. Owl measures approximately 1.5” long and 1.25” tall from. Each piece is handmade, making each unique and one of a kind. Bottom has maker’s stamp and individual piece number 010-26.

All glazes are lead free and food safe. Hand-washing recommended.
